Pallas is a domain controller for L2+ level autonomous driving, based on TI’s TDA4 platform design, a single chip integrates ASIL-B security level computing domain and ASIL-D security level MCU security island, with high integration and high security , Excellent computing performance, low power consumption, rich interfaces, etc.
　　 Pallas domain controller supports camera signal input, the input channel bandwidth is up to 6Gbps, and can support up to 8 inputs; at the same time, it integrates a visual signal preprocessing accelerator and a depth and motion perception accelerator for image signal processing and multi-sensor fusion. In addition, it also integrates a C7x-based DSP deep learning accelerator, which can be used to accelerate data such as images, with a computing power of 8TOPS. Pallas supports FPD-LINK interface display output.
　　Pallas also integrates a 1000M Ethernet switch module, which supports up to 8 (6 1000MBase-T1 and 2 1000Base-TX) network ports, supports PTP precise network time synchronization, and supports laser radar signal and web camera signal access.
　　Compared with the traditional split MCU solution of typical automotive domain controllers, Pallas adopts the integrated approach of computing domain and MCU safe island, and adopts a more advanced ARM Cortex-R architecture. The MCU safe island adopts isolated independent branches. Failure prevention and recovery can be achieved without virtualization, with higher reliability and security.
