In addition, it also integrates a C7x-based DSP deep learning accelerator, which can be used to accelerate data such as images, with a computing power of 8TOPS. Pallas also integrates a 1000M Ethernet switch module, which supports up to 8 (6 1000MBase-T1 and 2 1000Base-TX) network ports, supports PTP precise network time synchronization, and supports laser radar signal and web camera signal access.
Compared with the traditional split MCU solution of typical automotive domain controllers, Pallas adopts the integrated approach of computing domain and MCU safe island, and adopts a more advanced ARM Cortex-R architecture. The MCU safe island adopts isolated independent branches. Failure prevention and recovery can be achieved without virtualization, with higher reliability and security.
Pallas has rich expansion interfaces, supporting multiple CAN bus, RS232 interface, GPI interface and GPO interface, DAC analog signal output and ADC analog signal input. Support the application of car gateway.
