The 12 industrial projects signed on-site involve multiple fields such as intelligent driving, new energy, intelligent manufacturing, and industrial funds. Founded in 2014, Huanyu Zhixing is a company focused on autonomous driving solutions, products, and technical services, independently developing autonomous driving controllers. The company's founder, Li Ming, revealed that their project in Suzhou High-speed Railway New City has a total investment of 200 million yuan.
"It's not just us; we have some research teams that support us, including some surrounding manufacturing companies, forming a strong force together, integrated into our controller, creating a core product to compete with others."
Wuhan, as one of the six major "car cities" in China, has the automotive industry as one of its pillar industries. In Suzhou, the intelligent driving and related automotive parts industry has formed a good development momentum in Xiangcheng. At the promotion meeting, the government of Suzhou Xiangcheng District and Wuhan University of Technology jointly established the "Xiangcheng (Wuhan) Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center." The center plans to establish a research and development team of more than 30 people within five years and apply for no less than 80 domestic and foreign invention patents. "Currently, the main focus is on intelligent vehicles, intelligent driving control systems, automotive sensing facilities, urban intelligent infrastructure, and intelligent control network systems between vehicles or among vehicles, which promote the good development of our intelligent connected vehicles."
A long Yangtze River connects Wuhan in "Chu land" and Suzhou in "Wu gate," which are over 800 kilometers apart. Zhang Yongqing, Deputy Secretary of the Suzhou Xiangcheng District Committee and District Mayor, stated that Wuhan and Suzhou, both located at important nodes of the national strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, have similarities in industrial development concepts and also have complementary aspects. Through this promotion activity in Wuhan, there is great confidence in the vast cooperation prospects between the two places in the future.
